On Friday we went to the Botanical Gardens. They are famous for a rainforest collection and their Ginger and Orchid gardens. I've posted some pictures we took, though I don't have names for all the flowers. It is relatively close to Glentrees (the condominium complex where Jens lives). Bruce has had to learn to text message to get us a taxi. It is good for him. Jens could not believe he has never done it before. (He was on the Skype helping him learn to do it.) We ate samosas, Chinese dumplings and a carrot milkshake while we were out. Bruce wanted to sleep but we didn't until after Gita gave us a delicious dinner. I think I could get used to having a maid. While showing me the way to the local grocery store, she commented that she would not work for any of the single family properties we passed because they are so lonely. In Glentrees there are many people living together and they look out for each other. She would be afraid at night without so many people around.

A brief tour of Jens and Hina's condominium.
Just to the left of the front walk is the pool.
Their front door is on the right, patio at the far right, obscured by bushes (tropical of course).
This is Jens and Hina's living room, top, looking from patio to kitchen area. Bottom, looking from the kitchen area. Patio is at the end.
Their are maid's quarters near the kitchen area. Bedrooms upstairs, we are downstairs, which has a bedroom, playroom, bathroom and lower patio area.
We arrived at 2 AM after a long flight. There were no glitches in schedule. I was a bit jealous of those who managed to snag an empty middle row and thus could sleep lying down but after Tokyo I could not stay awake, even in the airport waiting to change planes. They do stamp your passport in Tokyo. Yea! The food was really good and let's see...I watched Last Chance Harvey, Inkheart, He's Just Not That Into You and couple others. Planes were not made for economy long-legged people but only my knees hurt and they don't hurt now. Gita eventually heard us knocking and we slept until 8 AM here. I made Bruce get up and stay up until night. We are doing OK.
